Wine lovers visiting the Niagara region can enjoy a number of events during the year celebrating the wine-making industry. From the annual Grape & Wine Festival in the Fall to the newly-established Niagara Wine Auction, recently hosted by Dan Aykroyd, there's always an exciting event to keep visitors busy.
Niagara Icewine Festival
Get ready for the 13th annual Niagara Icewine Festival, which runs from January 18th to February 3rd, 2008.
Via Rail is offering a Rail Icewine Train on January 25, while Festival Discovery passes allow for complimentary admision to a number of events.

Niagara New Vintage Festival
From June 14 to 22, 2008, the 13th annual Niagara New Vintages Festival

Niagara Wine Auction
The second annual Niagara Wine Auction will take place between June
13 to 15, 2008, with Dan Aykroyd hosting. Dinners, garden parties
and performances by the likes of Taylor Hicks and Matt Dusk entertained wine lovers during an enjoyable weekend.

Niagara Wine Festival
From humble beginnings, the Niagara Wine Festival has grown immensely in the last
56 years.
Running from September 19 to September 28, 2007, the Festival's over 100 events
include winery tours and tastings, concerts, artisan shows and family entertainment. The Grande Parade, held
on September 27 is expected to draw 150,000 people to downtown St. Catharines.
