· Two Niagara wines make Toronto Life's October, 2007 article of 100 tastes you must try before you die. The wines mentioned are Le Clos Jordanne's Le Grand Clos and Chatêau des Charmes' 2004 Paul Bosc Estate riesling icewine.

· On August 18, 2007, the Toronto Star printed an article describing the booming business of counterfeit Ontario wine, notably Icewine. The article describes how these counterfeit wines are made by adding sugar and water to regular wines in an attempt to replicate Canadian wines. The article can be found here.
